Was going to post a review or something but saw this article on the net and felt like putting it up here.

If the main study bores you scroll down to pictures and read the text above and below. Essentially a comparison of Indian women and Nordic (ie western) women.

It might be just me, but somehow I think there's some sort of bias in the way pictures have been picked here. The picture of Sneha looks horrendous and I would not have guessed it to be her without the caption. Mallika Sherawat's three pictures seriously look like Michael Jackson, and I'm quite sure she isn't that similar to his face.

Just randomly found it on the net and decided to put it up here.

What do u think? Comment or tag...

UPDATE: I was looking through the rest of the discussion when I came across this.

Didn't make me too happy; I was going to write something angry here but the remaining discussion started getting humourous and lightened me up. :)

UPDATE: Finally, a guy who makes sense. [link]
Of course, the next guy has to go and say something dumb again.

Good afternoon everyone. The four of us are from the Indian Orchestra, and today we'll be presenting to you three songs. That's Prahlad on the guitar, Arvind on the violin, Prasatt on the tabla, and I'll be on the keyboard. Along the way, we'll be telling you more about Indian Music and instruments. Here's our first song.

Indian Music falls under two main categories : Hindustani, and Carnatic. Hindustani is the music of North India, and Carnatic is the music of South India. There are many similarities between the two, such as rhythm structures and scales. Differences include the performance styles and the instruments used. This relation between the two allows them to be combined at times, when a North Indian artist and a South Indian artist perform together to explore new kinds of sounds. Other than these two types, there is also popular music from films and albums.
As of recently, many artistes have also embarked on fusion music that combines Indian music with other styles. The following piece is one such piece.
